Omega Hockey Services began in 2021 after recognizing a major gap in the hockey landscape: student-athletes needed honest guidance and development built around their individual goals. What started as a simple mission has grown into a comprehensive service—offering personalized player advising and off-season programming built to elevate each player’s game and prepare them for higher levels of hockey. He has mentored a wide range of athletes through every stage of the hockey journey, resulting in tenders, draft selections, standout junior careers, and ultimately NCAA and ACHA commitments.
Cory brings over 12 years of extensive experience across management, coaching, and scouting.
Most recently, Cory served three seasons as Executive Director and Head Coach of the Chippewa Jr. Steel Tier 1 program, leading the program to multiple finals appearances and helping more than 20 players advance to junior hockey.
He also served two seasons as President of the Chippewa Steel (NAHL) and stepped in as General Manager and Head Coach midway through the 2024–25 season. Taking over at Christmas with the team in seventh place, Cory orchestrated a dramatic turnaround—posting a league-best 19 wins in the second half, securing just the second playoff berth in franchise history, and earning the organization’s first postseason victory.
Cory began his hockey operations career as a scout with the Twin City Steel (NA3HL), progressing to Assistant General Manager over five seasons. He later scouted in the NAHL with the Michigan Warriors and Springfield Jr. Blues, before spending six seasons as Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel with the Northeast Generals (NAHL).
Additionally, Cory spent one season as General Manager of the Northeast Generals (NA3HL), leading the team to a 32–9 record and a Fraser Cup appearance.
